Airwallex Announces Global Economic Advisory Council with Four Leaders

Airwallex CEO Jack Zhang announced the formation of the Global Economic Advisory Council on May 12, 2026, appointing Senator Roy Blunt, Stephen Cutler, Morgan Ortagus, and Josh Frydenberg as inaugural members. The council includes former U.S. Senator Roy Blunt from Missouri, ex-JPMorgan Chase General Counsel Stephen Cutler, former U.S. State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus, and Australia's former Treasurer Josh Frydenberg who served from 2018 to 2022. Airwallex committed $1 billion to expand its U.S. operations over the next three years, supporting 46,000 existing U.S. customers. Senator Roy Blunt chaired the Senate Republican Policy Committee and served on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
