Ardian, Artefact, Bull, EDF, Capgemini, the iliad Group, Orange and Scaleway combined expertise in AION consortium on May 20 2026 to bid for European Union AI Gigafactories initiative in France. Scaleway CEO Damien Lucas said within the alliance Scaleway focuses on open and interoperable sovereign cloud and AI platform serving businesses researchers and public-sector players.
