Redis Debuts Context Engine Memory Layer For Enterprise AI Agents

Redis Inc. launched the Context Engine on May 18, 2026. The engine includes Redis Context Retriever in preview for semantic business data models via Model Context Protocol, Redis Agent Memory in preview for short-term and long-term state, and Redis Data Integration now generally available for continuous synchronization from databases and warehouses. The flagship in-memory store powers the layer and already appears in 43 percent of enterprise AI agent stacks.
