Cognition Launches Devin Auto-Triage with Long-Term Memory for Incident Handling

Cognition announced Devin Auto-Triage on May 18, 2026. The feature enables Devin to monitor bugs, alerts, and incidents across Slack, Linear, GitHub, and observability tools then investigate automatically and return context, next steps, or a PR. Devin Auto-Triage remembers prior investigations, deduplicates reports, links threads, maps team ownership, and tracks recurring issues for improved accuracy over time. Modal uses Devin Auto-Triage for inference team incidents and reports it monitors channels, works with codebases and observability stacks without prompting. Cognition offers $200 in credits for users building their first automation.
