TeamCity 2026.1 launched on May 13, 2026, introducing CLI and MCP support for AI agents to interact with CI/CD pipelines directly from the terminal. The open-source CLI allows agents to retrieve real-time build data, analyze logs, and pinpoint root causes without developer intervention. Pipelines enhancements enable YAML-based configuration with full branching support and upstream dependencies for combining multiple workflows such as microservice deployments. The release includes AI Assistant access in Enterprise trial accounts connected to TeamCity documentation and a bundled SAML plugin for SSO providers including Okta and AD FS. JetBrains fixed CVE-2026-44413, a post-authentication privilege escalation vulnerability affecting all prior On-Premises versions.
