Render Network governance vote RNP-023 approved the addition of 60,000 GPUs to its decentralized compute platform on May 11, 2026. The expansion targets increased capacity for AI and 3D rendering tasks amid surging demand from Hollywood studios and AI developers. AI workloads now constitute 35 to 40 percent of all jobs processed on the network, up from 20 percent in Q1 2026. RENDER token trades at $1.80, 86 percent below its $13.53 all-time high from March 2024. Network utilization grew 150 percent year-over-year to 1.2 million GPU hours monthly as of April 2026.
