OpenAI is backing a new AI startup Isara which aims to build software allowing AI agents to communicate and solve complex problems

OpenAI backed Isara in a $94 million funding round at a $650 million valuation announced in March 2026. Isara, founded in June 2025 by Eddie Zhang and Henry Gasztowtt, creates software for AI agents to collaborate on complex problems in finance and biotech. Investors include Amity Ventures, Michael Ovitz, and Stanley Druckenmiller. The startup has three employees and focuses on predictive modeling tools.
