The Tigris trial, a multicenter phase 3 study of polymyxin B haemoadsorption in endotoxic septic shock, published complete results in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine on March 23, 2026. The trial enrolled 157 adults across 19 US hospitals from September 2019 to April 2025 and showed 95.3% and 99.4% probability of benefit for PMX at 28-day and 90-day mortality.
