AWS introduced Amazon Quick on October 9, 2025, as an AI teammate for use at work, with an extension on April 28, 2026, adding a desktop application that runs continuously on the user’s machine. Amazon Quick comprises five integrated capabilities: Quick Index, Quick Research, Quick Sight, Quick Flows, and Quick Automate. The desktop client enables always-on background monitoring, content creation in chat, and direct connection to developer tools including Claude Code and Kiro CLI.
