Langfuse Adds Multi-Modality Support for Images Audio and Attachments on May 18 2026

Langfuse expanded trace support to multi-modal data including images in png jpg webp audio in mpeg mp3 wav and attachments such as pdf or plain text files by May 18 2026. SDKs automatically extract base64 data URIs upload them to storage and attach references. External URLs render inline while a new LangfuseMedia class and API endpoints handle direct uploads with presigned URLs. The feature remains free on Langfuse Cloud with self-hosting via S3 environment variables.
