VanEck and Grayscale file updated S-1 amendments for spot BNB ETFs

Grayscale filed its second amended S-1 for a proposed spot BNB ETF on May 16, 2026. VanEck filed its fifth amendment the same day for its competing spot BNB ETF. Both filings respond to SEC feedback and propose direct BNB holdings trading on Nasdaq. Grayscale and VanEck excluded staking from the initial proposals due to regulatory uncertainty.
