DataGrail announced the release of its Vera AI agent on March 25, 2026, embedded within the existing privacy management platform. Vera assists privacy teams in automating workflows across multiple complex environments and jurisdictions, including continuous monitoring of any number of 22,000 applications. The tool supports near end-to-end automated risk assessments for requirements such as those from the California Privacy Protection Agency and auto-classifies cookies for consent management without human input. DataGrail was also named the first production-ready Model Context Protocol server for privacy, available for Enterprise Plan customers. Daniel Barber, CEO of DataGrail, emphasized that Vera sits on top of the deeply integrated solution performing data mapping, data subject access request management, consent management, and risk assessments.
