Pinecone Adds Frankfurt and Singapore Cloud Regions

Pinecone launched the Frankfurt cloud region on AWS eu-central-1 on May 5, 2026, alongside the Singapore region. The expansions coincide with Nexus, KnowQL, Marketplace, Builder tier, and native full-text search releases. Dedicated Read Nodes deliver up to 97% cost reduction at scale with fixed hourly per-node pricing. The new regions support data residency requirements for Central European and Asia-Pacific enterprises. Pinecone stated the launches remove barriers to building agentic AI at scale.
