Scale AI Signs MOU With Department of Energy for Genesis Mission

Scale AI signed an MOU with the Department of Energy to support the Genesis Mission collaborative AI for science initiative involving national labs and advanced computing environments. The agreement addresses the data bottleneck in scientific data from DOE's 17 National Labs to enable AI-driven discovery. Pentagon Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office expanded its agreement with Scale AI from $100 million to $500 million earlier this week. Scale AI participates in the Defense Innovation Unit Thunderforge program as part of President Trump's Golden Dome homeland defense initiative. Founder Alexandr Wang departed for Meta's superintelligence initiative last year with Jason Droege now serving as CEO.
