Buildkite Announces Leadership Transition

Buildkite announced a leadership transition on March 3, 2025. The change positioned Kevin Gounden as CEO after his August 2025 formal naming. Keith Pitt moved to Founder role following his 13-year tenure as CEO. Tim Lucas, former co-CEO/CMO until 2022, serves as Board Director. The transition occurred after the 2023 Packagecloud acquisition and the launch of Test Analytics in 2021. Current leadership includes CTO Lachlan Donald who returned post-2022 and VP Head of People Cara Amores with prior roles at Groupon and Canva.
