Vultr launched a new cloud data centre region in Milan, Italy on May 19, 2026 marking the 33rd global region and ninth in Europe. CEO J.J. Kardwell emphasized demand from enterprises and developers for high-performance cloud infrastructure at lower cost and complexity than hyperscalers. The expansion coincides with AI Week 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho where Vultr acts as platinum sponsor. Vultr CEO J.J.
