University of Arkansas Launches Eighth Cohort of Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program

University of Arkansas launched the eighth cohort of its Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program on May 13, 2026. The 12-week program supports six outdoor recreation startups with workshops, mentoring and up to $15,000 in non-dilutive seed funding each. The Walton Charitable Support Foundation provided a $1.4 million grant in early 2026 to fund five additional cohorts. The program began in spring 2022 and has supported 47 startups to date.
