Nebius and Bloom Energy partner for up to $2.6B fuel cell power deal

Nebius Group announced a long-term partnership with Bloom Energy on May 20, 2026, to deploy solid oxide fuel cell systems for powering its AI data centers. The agreement covers up to 250 MW guaranteed capacity and 328 MW installed capacity across three phases, each with a 10-year supply term, replacing prior combustion-based plans at the first US site. Nebius selected Bloom for fast deployment timelines, low emissions, minimal water use, and lighter permitting requirements compared to traditional generation. The first 328 MW project is slated for operation this year to support Nebius’s US build-out with potential global expansion.
