IPinfo Adds Residential Proxy Detection to Splunk SIEM Workflows

IPinfo announced the addition of residential proxy detection directly inside Splunk environments on May 19, 2026. The update extends IPinfo’s existing Splunk integration, already used to enrich IP addresses with geolocation, ASN, company, and other privacy signals. The new feature provides direct observation coverage across 110+ providers and high-confidence signals with recency and persistence context. Available through the IPinfo app on Splunkbase for Splunk Enterprise, Cloud, and Enterprise Security. Ben Dowling, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of IPinfo, stated security teams gain a signal they can trust that reflects how traffic actually behaves.
