Snowflake Launches Observe by Snowflake AI Observability Platform

Snowflake launched Observe by Snowflake on May 5, 2026. The platform integrates AI-powered observability directly into the Snowflake AI Data Cloud using Apache Iceberg and OpenTelemetry standards. Enterprises can now ingest and retain 100% of telemetry data without sampling or short retention windows. Jeremy Burton serves as GM of Observability at Snowflake following the prior acquisition of Observe. The launch event featured demonstrations of AI-assisted troubleshooting that resolves issues up to 10x faster than previous methods.
