Google DeepMind Launches Three-Month APAC Accelerator for AI for the Planet

Google DeepMind launched the inaugural Google DeepMind Accelerator program in Asia Pacific on May 17, 2026. The three-month program targets startups, research teams and nonprofits across the region to apply frontier AI models to challenges in nature, climate, agriculture and energy. Selected participants receive expert mentorship from Google AI experts and support integrating science AI models into projects. The program addresses Asia-Pacific climate vulnerabilities with an in-person bootcamp in Singapore.
