Mastra Launches Upgraded CLI for Agent-Driven Builds, Tests, and Deploys
Share the canonical public link.
Mastra released an upgraded CLI on May 20, 2026, enabling coding agents to build, test, ship, and operate Mastra projects directly from the terminal. The update adds commands for invoking agents, running workflows, inspecting memory, querying logs and traces, executing evals, and deploying updates via runtime, memory, evals, observability, and platform modules. Mastra's team, including Paul Scanlon and Shane Thomas, promoted the release with demo videos showing agent workflows. Paul Scanlon joined Mastra from Neon and previously worked at GatsbyJS. The CLI requires mastra@1.9.0 or later and pairs with Mastra skills and MCP docs server.
