Axonius laid off 40 employees, or about 4% of its workforce, on February 15, 2026, while co-founder and CEO Dean Sysman resigned immediately to become executive chairman. President Joe Diamond was named interim CEO. The cuts primarily impacted senior marketing and sales roles, with only 7 in Israel R&D. Sysman cited a family medical issue involving his newborn son. The moves followed a prior layoff of 100 employees in November 2025 and came amid preparations for a potential IPO, with 2025 revenue around $200 million. Axonius had acquired Cynerio for $180 million in July 2025.
