Palo Alto Networks Acquires Portkey Valued at $120-140 Million

Palo Alto Networks is acquiring AI infrastructure startup Portkey to bolster its defences for autonomous AI systems. The acquisition was announced on April 30, 2026 and values Portkey at $120-140 million, double its February 2026 valuation after raising $15 million. The deal includes cash and stock components with no financial terms disclosed publicly. Portkey processes trillions of tokens monthly and will integrate as the central control plane for Prisma AIRS. Valuation doubled from $60-70 million at the time of its Series A round led by Elevation Capital.
