Rubrik and MEDITECH launch cyber resilience solution for Expanse healthcare platforms

Rubrik and MEDITECH announced a strategic collaboration on May 19, 2026 to offer native cyber resilience to MEDITECH Expanse self-hosted cloud and on-premises solutions. Rubrik Security Cloud provides immutable protection, native threat detection, data recovery and archival for healthcare providers. Sean Benton, Director of Computer Scientists at MEDITECH, stated the company is excited to certify Rubrik Security Cloud and give customers more choice and flexibility when securing critical data. Josh Howell, Healthcare Chief Technology Officer at Rubrik, noted that the partnership equips healthcare organizations with vital cyber resilience for optimal patient outcomes and allows recovery of critical applications within days instead of weeks. The FBI reports healthcare as a top target for ransomware attacks.
