CircleCI Announces Chunk CLI for Enforcing Team Conventions with AI Agents

CircleCI released the Chunk CLI tutorial on April 24, 2026. The CLI mines PR review history to distill team conventions into review prompts, installs hooks for pre-commit lint/test checks, and hands off fixes to autonomous CircleCI tasks. Chunk CLI integrates with AI coding agents by wiring hooks into Claude Code and generating markdown prompts with code examples from the top 5 PRs or since 2024-01-01. CircleCI CTO Rob Zuber highlighted the tool as part of the autonomous validation push alongside Smarter Testing and Chunk AI agent.
