Tigris Data Secures $25M to Challenge Big Cloud Storage Providers

Tigris Data closed a $25 million Series A round led by Spark Capital to build localized data storage centers. The funding targets decentralized AI infrastructure demand against incumbents like Amazon Web Services. Ovais Tariq, co-founder and CEO, stated the company has expanded its network of centers. Tigris Data was founded in November 2021.
