Vegas Golden Knights continue to withhold permission for the Edmonton Oilers to interview Bruce Cassidy. The Los Angeles Kings conducted an interview with Cassidy on or around May 9, 2026. Kelly McCrimmon stated teams have asked for permission to speak with Bruce Cassidy but the focus is on the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
