Notion introduced its new developer platform in May 2026 bringing Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex into workspaces to let AI agents query any database and automate workflows. The update includes Workers for custom code execution, Database Sync for external data, and an External Agent API. Teams can now connect AI agents, external data sources, and custom code directly within the Notion ecosystem. The platform builds on earlier AI features including Notion Agent and Custom Agents.
