Elon Musk’s xAI rolled out its first AI coding agent called Grok Build on May 14, 2026. The agent completes complex coding tasks from user commands and targets professional software engineering workflows. The early beta is restricted to paying subscribers and positions xAI against Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI offerings in the developer tools market.
