Vellum Raises $25M for Personal AI Assistant Development

Akash Sharma, CEO of Vellum, announced a $25 million funding round on May 7, 2026. The round included participation from Y Combinator, Leaders Fund, Dharmesh Shah of HubSpot, and Arash Ferdowsi of Dropbox. Funds support development of Personal Intelligence, a personalized AI assistant named Ash with deep memory and user-owned identity. Vellum previously raised $20 million in Series A funding on July 10, 2025, led by Leaders Fund.
