Weaviate v1.37 Ships Built-in MCP Server for AI Agents

Weaviate v1.37 introduced a built-in MCP Server on April 23, 2026, allowing Claude, Cursor, and other AI agents to query and write to the database without glue code. The release also added MMR diversity search to penalize near-duplicates in RAG pipelines and extensible tokenizers with accent folding and custom stopwords. Weaviate v1.37.4 on May 14, 2026, fixed async replication race conditions and added usage guardrails.
