CircleCI Resolves Maven Central Build Failures via Sonatype IP Allowlist on May 14 2026

CircleCI resolved elevated HTTP 429 rate limit errors for customers pulling dependencies from Maven Central on May 14 2026. The issue stemmed from new rate limits enforced by Sonatype on Maven Central starting May 13 2026. CircleCI collaborated with Sonatype to allowlist its dedicated IP ranges for affected jobs. Customers using the IP Ranges feature no longer encounter these limits and can safely rerun failed jobs without configuration changes. CircleCI continues addressing the issue for all customers beyond the IP allowlist.
