Shiva Dhawan, CEO and cofounder of Attentive.ai, commented on contractors adopting AI for faster workflows. Attentive.ai develops Beam AI, an AI-based takeoff platform for general contractors and subcontractors. The platform automates takeoffs across construction trades to reduce manual work. Shiva Dhawan noted contractors see AI as a way to move faster in preconstruction. Attentive.ai previously raised $30.5 million in Series B funding in November 2025.
