The Home Depot launched an AI-powered voice agent on April 22, 2026, built on Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience. The system handles customer calls to U.S. stores by recognizing intent in under 10 seconds and resolving issues four times faster than traditional menus. Jordan Broggi, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience and President of Online, oversaw the 50-store pilot that supports multiple languages and real-time translations. The Home Depot plans to expand the agent to all U.S. stores over the coming year from the April 22, 2026 announcement.
