XRP Ledger Sidechain Completes Major Roadmap Milestone with TerraPay Ethiopia Launch

TerraPay in partnership with Cooperative Bank of Oromia and Inclusive Financial Technology Foundation announced the launch of Blockchain-Based Settlement for inward remittances to Ethiopia on May 9, 2026. The initiative supports euro-denominated remittance flows from Europe using the Xahau Blockchain as the settlement layer. The launch followed collaboration with Ethiopian financial authorities to establish the regulatory and technical framework. Xahau Network stated on May 9, 2026 that a major milestone on the Xahau roadmap has been completed.
