Informatica and Databricks Announce Four Innovations for Enterprise AI Stack

Informatica announced four major innovations with Databricks on May 20, 2026 at Informatica World. The updates include Headless Data Management via MCP servers in Agent Bricks available in private preview with general availability in summer 2026, a purpose-built connector for Databricks Lakebase in October 2026, automatic publication of trusted golden records from Informatica MDM to Databricks SQL in October 2026, and tag extraction from Unity Catalog in the Cloud Data Governance and Catalog now available since April 2026. Rik Tamm-Daniels said the partnership builds the data foundation the agentic enterprise demands. Stephen Orban said the updates give joint customers the high-quality data foundation needed to deploy AI agents reliably.
