Xometry Appoints Lukas Biewald, Former Weights & Biases CEO, to Board of Directors

Xometry, Inc. announced the appointment of Lukas Biewald to its Board of Directors effective May 20, 2026, as a Class I director and member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Biewald is co-founder and former CEO of Weights & Biases, acquired by CoreWeave in 2025, and currently serves as SVP of AI Initiatives at CoreWeave; the platform has been used by more than 1 million engineers worldwide. Xometry CEO Randy Altschuler cited Biewald's experience building AI systems of record for training and deployment to support Xometry's personalized pricing and DFM intelligence features. Biewald holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
