Linear team launched Code Intelligence on May 14, 2026, granting Linear Agent controlled access to team codebases via GitHub integration. The feature enables the agent to analyze repositories for product implementation details, bug causes, and change impacts, supporting queries on technical constraints without manual searches. Administrators select specific repositories and set access scopes in AI Settings for Business and Enterprise plans. Previously, Linear Agent used only issues, projects, and documentation; Code Intelligence adds live codebase context to enhance reasoning depth. During public beta, the feature remains free for eligible plans.
