Payoneer Global Inc. and Upwork Inc. extended their strategic partnership on May 14, 2026, after 15 years of collaboration. Payoneer maintains its role as the primary wallet and direct-to-local-bank payout provider for Upwork's international customers in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, utilizing a network of nearly 100 banks and payment service providers across 190 countries. Upwork joins Payoneer as a Design Partner to develop stablecoin-enabled payouts targeting freelancers in Latin America and emerging markets. IEC Group recognized Payoneer as a leader in the 2026 Global Employer of Record study for its Workforce Management solutions on May 13, 2026.
