Workday acquired Flowise, a low-code platform for building AI agents. Workday plans to leverage Flowise's open-source foundation and invest in it to empower customers and partners. Flowise has processed millions of chats and workflows for customers in consulting, finance, healthcare, and customer support. Peter Bailis, Chief Technology Officer at Workday, stated the acquisition addresses the challenge of making AI agent development reliable and accessible. The integration enables faster agent building with fine-grained control, enterprise-grade observability, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints on the Workday platform.
