Pinecone announced its new Builder tier priced at $20 per month on May 13, 2026. The plan targets teams that have outgrown the free Starter tier but are not yet running large-scale production workloads. Builder provides full access to production-grade infrastructure and free support to address the prototype-to-production gap. The tier slots between Starter and Standard plans with a flat-rate structure to avoid usage spike surprises. Pinecone made the plan available immediately with an offer of the first month free for upgrades before May 31, 2026.
