ACI Worldwide and Security Bank Corporation won the Best Payment Technology Initiative in Asia Pacific award at The Asian Banker Global Financial Technology Innovation Awards 2026 on May 14, 2026. The unified cloud-ready payments platform consolidated fragmented systems and achieved 35% year-on-year transaction growth while tripling processing capacity. The platform supports ISO 20022 real-time payments across low- and high-value rails with 99.99% uptime and InstaPay scaling to more than 10 million transactions per month shortly after going live in 10 months. John Cary Ong, Executive Vice President and Wholesale Banking Segment Head at Security Bank, described payments as a front-line competitive differentiator enabled by the ACI partnership.
