Vultr Expands European Cloud Infrastructure with New Milan Data Centre Region

Vultr announced expansion of its European footprint with the 33rd global cloud data center region in Milan, Italy on May 19, 2026. Milan becomes the ninth European region for the privately-held cloud infrastructure provider founded by David Aninowsky. CEO J.J. Kardwell highlighted Italy as one of Europe's fastest-growing cloud infrastructure markets and positioned the launch as support for open source and AI ecosystem growth. The company maintains 185 countries of active customers and completed a $3.5 billion valuation equity financing round in December 2024.
