Zep AI raised $500K in a Seed funding round in March 2024. The round was backed by Y Combinator and supported development of its conversational AI platform that assembles context from chat history, business data, and user behavior. Zep AI's open source project Graphiti reached 20,000 GitHub stars within 12 months. The company maintains SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA certifications for its sub-200ms retrieval system used by startups and Fortune 500 teams.
