Intercom Rebrands to Fin on May 13, 2026 with All 1,400 Employees Now Part of Fin

Intercom changed its company name to Fin on May 13, 2026. All 1,400 employees are now officially part of Fin while the customer service platform keeps the Intercom name. CEO Eoghan Jennings stated the change destroys the past to embrace the service agent category future. The rebrand follows a multi-year overhaul of culture, pricing, and product strategy. Fin launched in March 2023 on GPT-4 and now uses Anthropic's Claude with Intercom 2 released recently.
