Zapier released AI guardrails, agent templates, and enterprise admin controls on March 5, 2026. The update added safeguards for AI automation scaling, one-click documentation, and tighter Forms and Tables integration. Zapier CEO Wade Foster oversaw the changes that followed a company-wide AI adoption push from 10% to 97% usage. Zapier now runs more AI agents than employees after the 2026 overhaul.
