Opsera launched Forge, its intent and context-aware enterprise software factory, on April 23, 2026. Forge transforms raw intent into enterprise-ready applications in minutes by establishing an AI-SDLC with spec-based development and guardrails. The platform uses reverse engineering to modernize legacy codebases such as .NET monoliths, COBOL, Java, and React into living specifications while preserving behavior. Kumar Chivukula, Co-Founder and CEO of Opsera, stated that Forge pairs AI speed with governance to deliver new applications from concept to cloud in hours and modernize legacy debt consuming nearly 40% of IT budgets. IDC Research Manager Matthew Flug noted that Forge enables enterprises to address legacy tech debt while improving speed and quality of cloud-native application delivery.
