Ashby Releases New Hiring Data at Ashby One Showing Tripled Applications Since 2021

Ashby released analysis of over 100 million applications and 200,000 jobs at the Ashby One conference on May 7, 2026. Applications per hire have tripled since 2021 with roles now receiving more than 300 applications per hire on average. Candidates are roughly 50 percent less likely to receive an interview than five years ago. Hires per recruiter recovered to roughly seven per quarter. Time to First Fill stands at approximately eight weeks for business roles and 10 weeks for technical roles.
