Augment Code published details on May 6, 2026, about rebuilding code review using its Cosmos platform. Cosmos automates PR risk analysis, deep code review, and PR authoring with shared memory and self-improving agent loops. Code output rose 3x since January while bug rate per output unit fell from 0.097 in mid-January to 0.006 by April 6. Median merge time decreased by roughly two-thirds from November to April and revert rate stayed below 1.5% in 20 of 25 weeks.
